My grandparents, Mr. Le Van Kha & Mrs. Nguyen Thi Duyen, started Ánh Hồng in 1954. They opened for business on December 30, 1954 in Phu Nhuan, Saigon, Vietnam. At the end of the American-Vietnam War in 1975, they had to close and relocate to Belgium, where they then retired.
For the love of the Bo 7 Mon, or Seven Courses of Beef Menu, my parents continued the tradition. We began our first location in San Francisco California in 1986. Since then, we have spread the love through the Bay: Milpitas in 1999, Berkeley in 2007 and now Sacramento in August of 2016.
We would like to welcome you to our restaurants. We are still a family operated business offering an authentic experience of real traditional Vietnamese food.
